Dollar Auto Works & Diagnostic, a representative of Japan Export Vehicle Inspection Center Co. Ltd. (JEVIC), is the service provider for Kenya Roadworthiness Inspections in U.A.E as of the January 2012. All fees and inspection criteria are regulated by the Kenya Bureau of Standards. Inspection Criteria

The inspection is to assess the vehicle for;
a. Vehicle must not exceed the eight (8) year age limit. Based on the year of first
registration, which will not be more than one year from the date of manufacture.
b. Right hand drive vehicles only.
c. Road Worthiness Inspection.

The vehicle must be presented with the original vehicle Registration Certificate and
Export documentations.

FEES: All inspection fees must be pre-paid in the form of bank remittance, and the
corresponding bank statement is to be submitted at the time of booking.

Inspection Fee: AED624.00, tax exempt, per inspection. [Note: This includes a KEBS administration fee of US$34.00.]

CERTIFICATE: JEVIC RWI Certificate will be dispatched COD once the vehicle successfully passes the inspection process.

Note: Any vehicle not inspected in UK and arriving in Kenya will incur a fee calculated on 15% CIF and subject to inspection upon arrival by KEBS.
